Safety
Moscow is as safe as any world capital. If you don't flash your cash on the street, don't attract way too much attention by dressing inappropriately, you will be fine. Moscow center streets are usually crowded, as is the Metro and other public transportation services.
If you look like you're not from Moscow, you may get stopped on the street and asked to show your passport and visa. Make sure your visa is duly registered. Just smile and be polite.
Your positive attitude is the most important thing to bring to Russia. It can make this trip an unforgettable experience.
